Vraxus
Celestial of Lybrionic Radiation
A free-spirited Celestial traversing the cosmos, curious of the many aspects of its many corners. The inspirational constructs of other more powerful deities garner his intrigue, for his Astarae can only alter what already exists. Despite his rather tame nature, his appearance noted as grotesque to those that eye upon it. A massive humanoid that, upon discovery was noted to be capable of accidentally stepping on the common man, akin to them unto insects. They were one of only three Celestials to demonstrate their ability to change their form at will, towards humanity. Joined in the company of Celtric and an unknown third.
It is a being, known for being the first to happen across humanity — revealing the existence of celestials to the masses. Its curiosity led to their torment, under his transmogrifying influence, birthing monstrosities that’d terraform the world they lived upon, as well as dominate peaceful walks of life with a chaotic discourse. Though their actions conducted earned the fear and anger of humanity, it was bestowed with high praise towards the sentient life born of it.
The experimentation eventually caught the eye of another celestial, Xelas, a Celestial of the Ardenti Libertas, keen on recruiting Vraxus into their ranks. It wasn’t long before The Order of Pax would find them, and Celtric, accompanied by Masina would attempt to subdue the Celestials for their transgressions against the natural void and order of the cosmos. Conflict ensued, leading to the defeat of Xelas at the hand of Masina. Infuriated, Vraxus had Masina vanquished, and sealed her within a sheath of his own spaceborne Astarae. This construct would soon revolve around the very world he had grew to haunt, witnessed by the few of humanity that’d call it: The Moon.
Vraxus battled at Celtric, weakening them both in the process. To avoid himself from being pried into Oblivion, he sought to continue their war by turning his experimentations of humanity, into his proxy. Through his plight, he wrought birth to twelve Titans under his reign: The Vraxian Duodenary. Playing on Celtric’s sympathy for the mortals, he pushes them to condone to the same — Until one Titan, potent of Celtric’s Astarae, stepped forth to oppose him: Cervantes. They had bested some of even Vraxus’ best Titans, and challenged the Celestial himself. However, the sheer might of the Celestial outclassed them entirely — trumping the prophecies foretold.
Impressed by the resolve and potency of a mere mortal, Vraxus kept them alive, subjecting them to his own Astarae. However, them being a mortal with a Titan’s worth of Astarae imbued upon their vessel, from two different Celestials created something greater than either Celestial could’ve fathomed: An Astarae Irregularity: Naevarus, was born.
Intent on consuming all of Reality for itself, it went out on a rampage across the world, growing stronger and even resilient to the effects of raw Amunae. Vraxus had realized that this creation would’ve done much more than simply destroy his rival, and in an act of selflessness for the sake of all Reality, he worked alongside his sworn enemy to purge Naevarus. They would succeed, but only in disseminating them into too many pieces to join back again, creating the Croxus.
Desperate to keep himself from being banished to Oblivion for eternity, he bound himself to the world by taking a corporeal form — A Celestial Relic, hidden somewhere on the planet of Arcenia.
