Xelas
Celestial of Solar Radiance
A Celestial enlisted within the forces of the Ardenti Libertas, whom stands stern on their belief that Celestials were created to use their Astarae freely. To her, they were the many artists, and the cosmos? Their vast canvas. She was one of the few that had started early in their experimentation of their prowess, known for birthing the very components necessary to create stars. With her work, and assistance of other Celestials across the cosmos — The blank darkness was soon illuminated with stars for what spanned into infinity. The sheer potency of her Astarae soon developed the very process of Fusion within the stars, birthing many more core composites for cosmos to use at their volition. Without her, many other Celestials wouldn’t have been able to realize their own forms of Astarae. In her travels, she discovered the results of her work: Mortals, across galaxies abroad — Though, a faction of Celestials known as The Order of Pax detested the wanton array of Astarae use.
Adamant on seeing an eternity where her art can flourish into greater and grander masterpieces, she sought to fight back at these rival celestials at every turn, though despite her power — she needed help. Thus, she would venture far and wide for Celestials willing to see a cosmos unhindered by a hierarchy of self-imposed individuals. Amongst her travels, she had caught the eye of Vraxus, whom had stumbled upon a type of Mortal dubbed ‘Humanity’ on a planet named Arcenia. She attempts to recruit him without issue, and soon observes his workings — growing close in their interactions with one another. However, their lives together would be cut short, by a hunting party of The Order of Pax, led by Masina.
Xelas attempted to combat the Celestial, only to find herself bested entirely, brought to the brink of life. Desperate not to succumb to Oblivion’s pry, she bound herself to Reality, by taking a corporeal form. In inspiration of her art, the form she’d choose would be an emerald star that gleams amongst the cosmos, shining brighter than most, and even giving off flares towards mortal-inhabited planets nearby. Due to the star’s unnatural glow, it can easily be picked out the millions that dot the skies on mortal worlds close enough to observe it.
Legends say it can wager a potence within its presence, though it is unknown as to what.
