Celtric

Celestial of Telekinetic Embodiment

One of the many to partake in The Order of Pax, in pursuit of strict control over the uses of Astarae upon the cosmos. It was strongly believed that any and all existence was to be, under a rigid hierarchy, from the grandest of Celestial powers to the lowliest of mortals abroad. He would set forth to scour the cosmos alongside his most trusted, to hunt down rogue Celestials and limit the amount of influence they had on Reality. Often times, this meant rendered them back to Oblivion, where they would cease to exist for a period of time, if not indefinitely. The most prominent of all of his antagonized Celestials was Vraxus, proving to become a stronger force than himself, alongside their accomplice: Xelas. Further investigation of Vraxus’ endeavors revealed the celestial tampering upon a collective of mortals. Sympathetic towards these victimized souls, Celtric would spare a small sect, imbuing few amongst them with a unique circuitry to enable them to defend themselves against the atrocities manifested by the rival Celestial. An arms race had begun, with the spawn of Celtric’s own Titans. The Celestial enlisted the aid of Masina to take down their enemy, only to see things turn for the worse.

Between the two, eventually rose an Astarae Irregularity, a mortal that transcended their limitations due to the sheer potency of multiple forms of Astarae imbued into its vessel. The being was capable of resisting the raw effects of Amunae itself, forcing both Celtric and Vraxus to act in putting it down before it could rise to consume the cosmos and endanger the rest of Reality. The anomaly would disseminate into the world, victimized to the Celestial Arms Race, would become the Croxus. Clinging to the brink of survival, Celtric tethered himself to Reality to avoid being plucked back into Oblivion by taking a corporeal form — becoming, a Celestial Relic.
