Vraxus’ wondrous travel throughout the cosmos would lead to him discovering a world inhabited by a race he’d dubbed to be humans. His curiosity would bring him to temper them with his Astarae, and although his experimentation wrought forth unique entities to their world, it’d birth discourse with it. In time, another Celestial named Celtric would come across this blatant disregard for the Order of Pax’s policies and orchestrate the manifestation of three powerful Titans to fend off against Vraxus’ monstrosities. In response, Vraxus sought out persons of interest to create twelve Titans of his own, dubbed:
The Vraxian DuoDenary
Orpheus, The Immortal
One of the many humans to fall in the battle, devout to Vraxus’ reign. He was selected at random to be stripped of human mortality with the intent of observing humanity’s potential without limitation to their lifespans. The result was mastery over the very fundamental element of a disembodied soul: Aesha. Necromancy had proven the sole method of ensuring the future existence of Ghasts. Thus, with immortality and soul alteration thoroughly understood, the construction of eternal vessels were soon underway-- Creating the first Scions to walk amongst the living.
Argot, The Primordial Hivelord
Humans unfortunate enough to be exposed to Lybrionic Radiation had fallen ill to a genetic mutation that rewrote them from the inside. Their body victimized to a scourge that broke them down into digested biomass, only to rise once more as a parasite. The newly born parasites would then seek out any source of subsistence to grow and reproduce. With avid numbers, some even undergo metamorphosis to start the creation of a hive.
With adequate time, these hives can breed predatory beings that hide underground, infesting any area ripe for conquest for biomass and hive stability. The first of such to survive all of its metamorphosis stages had evolved into a being of hyper intelligence, coordinating lessers of its hive to the betterment of the whole.
Masina, The Luna Matrem
She was once a Celestial, attempting to recruit Vraxus into The Order of Pax. However, Vraxus refused and overpowered her in hopes of subduing her before she could banish him to Oblivion. Rather than vanquish her, he’d encapsulate her weakened body within a spherical prism of biomass, inspired by floral-based properties. Her new prison idled within the vacuum of the cosmos, forever in orbit around the planet of Arcenia. The results of her anguish rattles the surface of the moon, shedding spores abroad that’d coat the planet’s atmosphere-- Sporting a crimson red as it reacts to the mortals on the surface.
With time, her influence vaguely extends beyond the surface of her prison, allowing her to pull spaceborne bodies to her-- emulating gravity, and to those whom garner her whole interest? Her drag would pry those who stand on the moon’s surface, deep into its depths, to receive the fruits of her intrigue.
Tsar, The War Beast
The natural fauna of Arcenia intrigued Vraxus, as much as humanity-- Leading him to experiment on the masses all the same. Many of his biological constructs would die in his vain efforts, but few chimera would manage to rise above the rest. One of which would be Tsar, a monstrosity dubbed ‘Lycan’. Their former ferality had transcended into ferocity. Intellect turned what was once an avid hunter, into a warmongering beast. It taunted humanity in its raids, infecting those it came in contact with-- Once devoid of Lybrionic taint, now instilled with Lycanthropic Venom.
The process would be slow, but in time, the transformation into a physically imposing variant of humanity would be complete, leading onward to a new breed of aggressive battle-savvy warriors. Though oddly reminiscent of a wolf, this creature hulks at 3 meters in height. Its physical body has the potential to shift to accommodate swift movement, toughness and even flight.
Nidae Bufoxel, The Will of Hylin
Unlike the more impressive, predatory breed of Lycans bred into the world, an amphibious equivalent simply would not come to be. A physically unimpressive being was born, absent of unbridled wrath nor hunger. It was born to be devoid of purpose-- To know, only nihilism, for its very creation and rise to sentience showcased pathetic anatomical design to Vraxus. The most capable of their kind rose to defend her lessers from the victimization of the world, and sacrificed herself to imbue a select few amongst them with her undying willpower.
Those born with her Will, are her worshippers: The Hylin. These beings embody her-- The ability to learn and understand their surroundings, to inspire and motivate their kind and to bring collective action that many others could only dream of alone. Though, their methods and traditions surrounding the shamanistic and religious culture, their progress excel through Her.
Ranok, The Legion of Infinitum
A cultist of Vraxian faith that committed to sacrificial rituals to appease Vraxus after his many skirmishes against Celtrinite forces. Haven proven himself through many battles, he was acknowledged by his Celestial and bestowed with the power of a Titan. Though, he was still man, he obtained the ability to directly absorb biomass into his physical body, and use it to replicate himself. Time provided to allow him mastery of this power, and he would soon become the leader of his own legion of replicants.
Without true limit to what biomass he could consume, he had claimed that he-- Was infinite. Soon, he’d break away from religious practices to deify himself, as a God under the Celestial Vraxus. Those whom followed under his cult practice and birthed his offspring, perpetuate his bloodline of Replicators.
Ulyssus, The Speculum Corpus
Once a student under the Celtrician Hagioplex, studying to understand the divine vision of the Celestial. The man had grown tired of the stale life he had come to know, wishing to understand things beyond his reach. A divided land of culture and tradition across the land piqued his desire to study the unorthodox. To somehow unite a divided and uniquely diverse people, through integrating into each society.
Considered far too impure, interests swayed and inspiration from rumor surrounding Ranok led him to believe that Vraxus could capable of enabling him to commit such a task.
Digression from his people to seek out Ranok’s legion, ultimately bestowed him with an opportunity: Empowerment by Vraxus himself, at a cost- To slaughter the head of the Celtrician Hagioplex. In an ultimatum, to kill his religious mentor for the opportunity to change the world and continuous segregation of people, he betrays his origins to follow suit under Vraxus’ intent.
In reverence to his betrayal, he was biologically altered to enable him the ability to transmogrify his anatomy to imitate others. Now, able to steal the faces of those he comes across, he is able to better pursue his goal… If only, at the cost of upset balance between Vraxian and Celtrician forces.
Forever a traitor and forever ashamed, he hides from his former allies. Though his newer facades proved far from perfect, for despite his capability to even copy the powers and abilities of others, weakness would shatter his efforts- revealing him for his true identity, nicknaming him and those descendent of him: Glass people.
Kaenus, The Corpus Rapientem
A distant cousin to Ulyssus, he had taken towards pursuing them in their descent nearing the assassination of the Primus Sacerdos. Though, in a surprise assault by Ranok’s Legion, he was overwhelmed and left for dead. At the brink of death, he pleaded to Ulyssus to surrender his efforts in vain, forced to watch as the first Titan of Celtric perished.
Years would pass before he would hunt down his distant relative once more, only to find himself framed of treason to his home of Engris. The surprise of the event led to failed resistance in his arrest, soon after tortured and battered in an attempt to force him to confess to a crime he did not commit.
The culmination of extensive time in a dungeon, perspective-warping torment and anguish for his seemingly lost cousin led him to question his beliefs- A moment of weakness capitalized on by a mystery encounter from within his cell. Unbeknownst to him, Orpheus had taken to invading Engris while he was imprisoned-- assailing forces would relinquish those within the dungeons to take them as potential ghast vessels. Amongst the many that would plea for their lives, he sought only redemption. Before Orpheus could pry his soul from his body, Ulyssus would vouch for his life, intriguing Orpheus and leading to an encounter with Kaenus.
Much like his relative, the power he’d inherit from Vraxus to alter his physical being, dependent on those he’d come across. No longer was he restrained to his body, but all of those he came across.
Seren, The Wrath of Vraxus
The terror of mankind would know no equal. Orpheus, Argot and Tsar could only commit to such that appeased their interest and range of influence. Though, none of which laid claim to the skies above. None of which hunted humanity exclusively for their tribute. This, was the doing of the gargantuan sky serpent. No one truly knows where it came from, nor why it was made into existence. Only that Vraxus had birthed it into being-- For it knows no allegiances aside from its God-King.
Kineticists realize little effect upon the beast, as it demanded humanity’s collective surrender to its being. Considered the closest to divinity below the Celestials, its demand was met, leading to the creation of cults in reverence. Without divine intervention from above, only the few Titans under of Celtric seem to spare much of a chance-- Unless the Champions of Arcenia’s mortals culminated in power for Seren’s inevitable return
Sergeth, The World Devourer
It dwarfs its younger brother, Seren and towers over its lessers: mortal and draconic alike. The hierarchy it stands within far surpasses humanity and its counterparts, leaving them largely out of its view. Tributes from its lessers are its demand to forbade demise by its hungering maws. Rare materials found throughout the land, constructs of lesser mortals, and more are added to its vast collection. Without any to contest its might, it claims the title of God and King of draconic kind, far too large to take flight, it forms the northwestern mountain ranges of Onaillia in its slumber.
Many lack knowledge of its existence, should they not survive to traverse the length of its body to find his resting head. Religions have formed from the existence of this being, labeling it as “The World Devourer” and “Dragon God”, requiring sacrifice in futile hope to appease what simply surpasses their worth in its eyes.
Venus. Huntress of the Succubi Sisters
It is unknown whether or not she was originally human, though she exhibits traits from Messinite kind. Unlike either, she lacks solid pupils, baring only yellow halos surrounded and filled with a vibrant green gleam that threatens to blur her irises away from view. The pores across her skin constantly radiate a pheromone that draws other mortal beings to her. Given this natural attraction and physique to match, she uses this to hunt her prey.
Physical contact with her acidic skin breaks down the biological material alien to her own, transmuting it into subsistence to be absorbed into her being. This allows her to feed through touch, while misleading her victims. To those whom are chosen by her or her lesser cultists, they are bestowed with the privilege to the potential of becoming her Champion.
Suadela, Gatherer of the Succubi Sisters
Exactly like her sister in appearance, she matches her every detail with the exception of her personality and demeanor. Laziness takes prominence in reverence to her younger siblings enthusiastic hunts for prey. To those whom approach her lounging figure, they are subject to her radiating pheromones. Unlike Venus’ variant, it acts more akin to anesthesia, building up a sense of drowsiness in all that idle too long within its radiance.
Thanks to the resistances between the sisters to each others’ radiating pheromones, they are typically used in tangent to refuse prey the slightest opportunity of escape without backlash. Exactly like her sister, she consumes subsistence by absorbing the biomass of her prey through touch.
